Owambe Inspired #6

Hey Beauts,

I'm back with another party inspired look, and this time it features glitters, pink lips and ankara. My friend and Colleague Jumoke of Eyesome Beauty gave me some glitter and pigments to try out and they've just been sitting in my makeup box doing nothing. Today I decided to play with colours and this is what I came up with.

Bronze Glow...

It's Transformation Thursday Beauties!!!

I know I hardly put up my before picture on the blog but the truth of the matter is 90% of the time I go about my life with my bare face.  Ask my students and they will testify to that. I don't wear makeup to the studio at all. I wear makeup on special occasions, to church, and most especially for the blog. So just incase you see me outside the blog and I don'd have any makeup on , you should be able to recognize me.

For today's look I used earthly tones to give that radiant glow. See after pictures below....

Nivea Men After Shave Balm as a Primer?

Social Media influenced me!!!

It is so easy to jump on the bandwagon the moment there is social media buzz about something. And that's how I found myself using Nivea Men After Shave Balm as a Primer. Yes, you read right, men's after shave as a makeup primer.

Bimbo's Makeover | Salsa Party

Happy New Month Everyone, and welcome to March...

Thank God for the new month and most especially for today's rain. It's enough to be grateful for, because the heat lately has been so unbearable.

Today's post is a look I did on my sister on  Sunday. She had a salsa party to attend and wanted a makeover for it. Since it was a night thing, I decided to go with bold colours.

See after pictures and products used below...

  • jordana brow pencil- dark brown
  • mac studio finish concealer- nw45

  • mac e/s- goldmine (lid)
  • mac e/s- carbon (outer v)
  • bmpro e/s- sangria ( transition)
  • illusions gel liner- black
  • bolwin mink lashes
  • mabrook extremely soft eyeliner- black

  • mary kay medium coverage foundation- bronze 607&708
  • maybelline clear smooth powder- cinnamon
  • black opal concealer- nutmeg ( highlight)
  • ben nye banana powder- topaz (set highlight)

  • bmpro blush- obsession
  • sleek contour kit- dark

  • colour pop ultra matte lip- be-dazzled

My sister tends to have discoloration and hyper-pigmentation and it makes her neck appear way darker than her face. I can't be applying foundation on the neck most especially when the collar of her dress is yellow.

She loved her look even though she wasn't sure of the lips, but I convinced her to go rock it and she did.

What do you think of this look?
